ABOUT
The Prospector Theater is located in the heart of the historic Ridgefield, Connecticut. Sitting on the footprint of the town’s original movie house, the Prospector Theater was completely rebuilt from the ground up with the mission of competitive and inclusive employment for people with disabilities in mind. The 26,000-square-foot building leads the way in exhibition excellence, accessibility, and employment. Over 850,000 guests have been dazzled by Prospect sparkle since opening in November of 2014.

No outside food or beverages. Food allergies? Please refer to our special accommodations form for additional support.
We recommend that all guests arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime so that you can easily grab concessions and your favorite seats!
For R-Rated movies, any customer under the age of 17 must have a parent or adult (21 or older) give permission IN PERSON at our Box Office to gain admission to the theater.
